We're fast approaching a tipping point for human and natural environments both now and in the future. Although our current environmental challenges are great, an important key to a stable future is that businesses are increasingly finding that "going green" is not only noble, it's also profitable.

The International Dairy-Deli-Bakery Association (IDDBA) sponsored an industry study conducted by Willard Bishop, LLC, focusing on environmental issues and the multitude of pressures that are driving the green revolution. The resulting report, Environmental Sustainability: The Power of Green (How Going Green Can Lead to Positive Return on Investment), is designed to help educate, encourage, and guide retailers, manufacturers, and suppliers to embrace environmentally responsible and profitable actions.

The study highlights why and how companies can efficiently and effectively employ environmental sustainability initiatives by adopting the best business case practices (as measured by impact and return on investment) associated with implementing these strategies and tactics.
