Identifies new business opportunities, develops sales presentation programs, meets with potential customers, & acquires new business. Provides a key communications link between the sales team, the broker community, purchasing, upper management and the members/customers. |

| Required Qualifications: |
Position requires two to three years of college with coursework in marketing, sales & business. In absence of formal education, significant & progressively responsible work experience may be substituted. Position requires five to six years of retail & wholesale foodservice sales experience with a minimum of two years sales management experience. Two to three years of merchandising experience at the retail level is also required. Four to five years procurement experience with demonstrated knowledge of service deli, thaw & serve bakery & other foodservice procurement sources would be extremely beneficial. Position requires demonstrated in-depth knowledge of distribution & sales concepts. Position must have basic knowledge of budgets including sales forecasting, operational costs & accurate profit projections. Demonstrated ability to plan, initiate & execute sales programs & forecasts & communicate effectively is also required. |
