With IDDBA's Bakery Training & Certificate video series, associates learn how to "delight" customers, with friendly talk that can turn conversations into successful sales for the store. These five grassroots video/workbook programs help increase employee knowledge and motivation (and this helps increase job satisfaction and retention!). Happy associates make for happier customers, too. Four of the video/workbook programs teach simple-to-use customer service and product knowledge skills, and effective food safety and merchandising techniques. The fifth course, for managers, focuses on how to successfully run a supermarket bakery department. This video/workbook series can be done in a self-study or leader-led format. "Certificates of Acknowledgement" are available for all associates who successfully complete each of the courses.
