Shaun O’Neale exploded onto the culinary scene in September 2016 when he claimed the title of America’s best home cook and was named Season 7 Champion of MasterChef on FOX. During his season on MasterChef, Shaun won over the palettes of Gordon Ramsey, Christina Tosi, Daniel Boulud and Wolfgang Puck with his bold flavors and flawless presentation. He graduated from reality star to culinary star in May 2017 with the release of his debut cookbook, My Modern American Table, that features the same bold, inventive techniques that earned him a record-setting eight wins in the MasterChef kitchen.

In his Tuesday Show and Sell Workshop he’ll teach us about the history of bone marrow and value cut dishes around the world—food fare that’s on fire in gastropubs. He’ll prepare and sample Roasted Bone Marrow with Bourbon, Apricot, and Bacon Jam on Sourdough Toast and be ready to answer any questions about his recipes and culinary journey. Shaun is a self-taught chef who educated himself by reading cookbooks, studying the history of food and traveling across the globe to absorb different cultures and flavors.

Show attendees will also be able to enjoy another 20-year talent of Shaun’s—his musical and masterful DJ work both in the IDDBA 17 General Sessions.
