Balanko has remained at the forefront of millennial studies with The Hartman Group since 2011. Applying syndicated research to help companies understand the nuances of this generation, she’s played a key role in shaping the research questions and disseminating findings and providing strategic direction with respect to engaging millennials.

A graduate from the University of Windsor with a Ph.D. in applied social psychology, Balanko has an informed understanding of the social and cultural influences impacting the marketplace of today and tomorrow. She engages a diverse audience spanning the consumer packaged goods, retail, and food service segments. Sharing leading-edge insights and implications from the field, Balanko understands the evolving consumer culture.

She started at The Hartman Group studying consumer behavior as an ethnographer and directing the analytic and retainer services teams, and is now a member of The Hartman Group leadership team. Her role focuses on listening, questioning, and observing to understand industry challenges to support the development of new consulting services.
