Retail Management Forum

The Retail Management Forum (RMF) is a small, invitation-only, interactive meeting with retail executives who share our concerns and commitment to achieving excellence. At RMF there’s no sharing of trade secrets or juggling for competitive advantage at this event – just an informal atmosphere that provides a forum for learning, networking and visiting a lot of great stores that you might not get to visit otherwise.

This year’s RMF was held in Seattle on February 9 – 11. There were a variety of educational opportunities offered both through store visits and presentations. Store visits will include: Whole Foods, Starbucks Reserve Roastery, Amazon Go, QFC, New Seasons, Metropolitan Market, PCC and Uwajimaya Market. The presentation topic on Sunday, February 10, was focused on e-commerce.

Previous retail representation has included Kroger, H-E-B Grocery, Hy-Vee, Tops Markets, Giant Eagle, Meijer, Albertsons/Safeway and Whole Foods.  Previous speakers include Phil Lempert (The SupermarketGuru), Joel Schaefer (Executive Chef, Sodexo at Concordia University), Shawn Stevens (Food Industry Counsel, LLC) and Mark Dickinson (Emerge Strategic Solutions).

IDDBA covers all costs for qualified invited retailers in the dairy, deli and bakery sectors. Spots are limited.
