As a part of IDDBA's mission to promote the growth and development of dairy, deli, bakery, and cheese sales, we are pleased to bring you our Introduction to Food Safety training series at no cost. This is a decision of our Board of Directors and it strongly supports our association's vision of being recognized as an essential resource for relevant information and services which add value across all food channels for our perishable categories.
The Importance of Food Safety
Food safety is the most important aspect of any food-related job. It is vital for each employee to do his or her part every day, every time, to ensure that the store's food is safe. This series of courses will teach about the importance of food safety and what associates can do to keep food safe.
The courses are designed as workbooks. All three courses should take about 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete. You can download and take the courses based on the needs of your business.
