From the conceptualization of new product ideas, to formulation and consumer testing, Carol’s work at Mattson has brought success to restaurant operator and packaged food companies. As a Culinary Institute of America (CIA) graduate, Carol began her career cooking at Gotham and Bouley restaurants in NYC and at the CIA-owned Greystone Restaurant in Napa Valley. This culinary background provided a key foundation for her success in product innovation, as everyone knows the food has to taste great to get repeat purchase which is critical for long term success.
