This session will be about the development of the ISO Net Zero Standard, and what it means for "net zero governance." The development of the standard marks a consequential evolution of the next transition and will allow the global Quality Infrastructure system to be leveraged for the first time. This will unlock important creditability and accountability potential currently missing from the forces influencing private sector net zero action. In this presentation, Shana Gallagher of BSI will therefore provide clarity to the business community and to consumers about the impending global definition of the net zero best practice, what is coming in terms of net zero expectations for businesses, and increase participation in the process.
